Insideout

insideout was a site-specific performance between Jenn Sova, Emily Jones, and myself, which took place within Sova's solo exhibition Four Houses at Rubus Discolor Project on February 26, 2023. Using touch, rhythm, repetition, sound, and memory we explored interior and exterior domestic spaces, generational loss, and invite connections and questions. How do we inhabit spaces? What do our bodies remember of these spaces? Viewers were invited to watch the performance by looking in the house's windows and doors from the outside.
