Buckman Journal commissioned these film photographs for their Winter 2026 anthology (Issue 015) on the theme of “Cluster.” Photos show dancers Sophia Ahmad, Muffie Delgado Connelly, and Kenny Frechette improvising together. They appear both on the cover as interior art alongside Michael Kurt’s work of short fiction, “Homebodies.” The shoot was conducted using quotes from Michael’s story as impetus for the various physical forms the dancers created with multiple exposures speaking to the anthology’s overarching theme.
