Stelo Artist Residency

Experimental Portrait Sessions, Sunday, December 14, 2025, 1pm-4pm at Stelo

I will be holding open hours for low-stakes experimental portrait sessions at Stelo: Sessions will be first-come, first-served with a length of about 10 minutes maximum per participant. Participants will be asked to sign a photo release allowing me continued use of the photographs—opting out is an option. Participants will be emailed a Smash link where they can download my photo selects after their session. This offering is part of Stelo's participation in the Annual Art Book Fair taking place around Portland's North Park Blocks.

Photos from these experimental portrait sessions may be shared as part of the body of work I am building during this residency, culminating in a public installation and performance at Stelo on January 10th, 3-5pm.

between frames, Saturday, January 10, 3-5pm at STELO

I will present a public installation of photographs along with a movement-based performance to conclude my residency at Stelo. My work with both multiple exposure and gesture explores the themes of permeability and continuity, reaching into the space between photographic frames. What secrets about the past and future dwell in these layered and/or underexposed sites of indeterminacy, imagination, and desire? Light refreshments will be served at this event.
